Jake is a lifelong resident of Bulloch County. He was born with a passion to serve others, and has been serving families for over 30 years. He began his career in the funeral industry in 1982 while attending Statesboro High School. Jake graduated from Gupton Jones College of Morturary Science in 1989. He was elected Bulloch County Coroner in 1999, a position he still holds today. Jake also graduated from the Savannah River Police Academy in 1986 and is POST certified. He is a member and past president of the Georgia Coroners Association. Jake is also an ordained minister, and through his dedication and loyalty, he has built a career on trust. Jake is a family man with a devotion to the Lord. He is married to Kim, and has 4 children; Hunter, Lindsay, Hayden, and Luke.
As a Bulloch County native, Mr. Tremble has served as the Deputy Coroner of Bulloch County Service since 1997. Currently, he volunteers as a chaplain of the Statesboro Police Department and is a faithful member of other organizations where he serves his community.
For over 24 years, he has been the Pastor at Second Saint John Missionary Baptist Church of Statesboro. He is a 1992 graduate of the Gupton-Jones College of Funeral Service. Presently, he is the Owner and Funeral Director of Craig R. Tremble Funeral Homes, Inc. of Statesboro and Pembroke, Ga.
He is married to Mrs. Yolanda A. Tremble, the father of two sons, and the grandfather of three grandchildren.
Chuck Francis is a lifelong Bulloch County resident. He works at East Georgia Regional Medical Center in the Cardiac Cath lab and has been in the medical profession since 1996. He has served Bulloch County as a Paramedic and Deputy Coroner for twenty plus years. He takes pride and considers it a privilege to help serve this community no matter what hat he is wearing.
Richard Pylant was born in Jenkins County, GA on August 26, 1983 and graduated from Jenkins County High School in 2001. Richard has owned and operated RC Lawn Care & Landscaping for the past 20 years. He has resided in Bulloch County, GA for the past 12 years and has served as Deputy Coroner there since 2013. Richard is a graduate of the Funeral Service Program at Ogeechee Technical College and has owned and operated Curtron Transport for the past 10 years. He has been working in the Funeral Industry since 2004.
Richard loves his community and has served it in many capacities. He has served as an officer of the Portal Police Department since 2012. Richard also serves as President of the Portal Middle High Booster Club and as Vice Chair of the Portal Middle High School’s Council.
Richard is married to Dawn Pylant and the proud father of seven children. In his spare time, he enjoys watching and participating with his children in their dancing or sports activities.
Richard works hard to help everybody who crosses his path and is ready to make positive contributions to life.
